My name is RJ Wilson, and I was born and raised in the heart of Chicago, Illinois. I am currently a first-year student studying Journalism - Sports Media at the University of Mississippi. My passion for sports photography lies behind the lens. My journey began five years ago, and what started as something for fun quickly became something I knew I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Through countless photo shoots and games, I have excelled not only in my technical skills but also in my ability to anticipate and capture the emotional moments that define competition. To me, sports photography is more than action shots, it’s about freezing emotion, telling stories, and preserving the intensity of a single instant that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
